Review: 777 eCigs – LED Tank Red & BlueKeira Hartley-Barnes
Who says we can’t have a little extra fun while vaping? Sometimes a little fun is, well, just what we need. That being the case, when we opened up the latest package sent to us from our good friends at 777 eCigs (aka ‘Triple 7’) and discovered a few tanks for their new Magnum batteries, we were delighted to see that the tanks lit up in Red or Blue LEDs. Not exactly a game changing item but we thought it would be a good idea to let our readers that enjoy the 777’s Magnum line, or most other eGo-threaded battery, know about them.
Holding approximately 1.5 ML of eLiquid, these bottom coil tanks are rated at 2.4 – 2.6 ohms. The LED’s are in the actual coils too, so when you change out the coil with a new Magnum LED coil the lights continue to work. The threaded base of the coils are slightly different from the standard threads of the Magnum Tanks, and although 777 eCigs recommends using only Magnum batteries with it we found they work perfectly well on several of our own eGo-type batteries, including Kanger EVOD batteries and Spinners. So even if you haven’t picked yourself up a Magnum Starter Kit you can enjoy these cool Tanks.
Real World Testing
Julia and I set up both a red and a blue tank on our Magnum battery and on a Vision Spinner and then proceeded to vape a while in living room, sans all the lights. It was pitch black except that every time we took a drag from our e cigarettes. When we did our faces glowed with light emitting from the LED tanks. It was kind of romantic, and definitely fun. But don’t be fooled into thinking the Tanks are gimmicks, these are the same quality Tanks 777 sells with their Magnum batteries, they put out ample amounts of vapor and help with a nice throat hit. If you happen to have the 777 eCigs Variable Voltage Magnum you can further control the vapor and throat hit.
The LED Tanks are now available at 777 eCigs and priced at just $8.95 a piece. Replacement LED coils come in 5-packs and are $19.95, or just $4.00 each. A one-time investment in a Magnum Tank of $8.95 and $4.00 a coil is a pretty good deal. Each coil should last about two weeks. Lighter Vapers may get up to 3 weeks from a coil, heavy Vapers may only get 10 days from a coil.
The Magnum, reviewed here, are terrific batteries offered in 3 different variations, 650mAh batteries, a 650mAh digital battery that displays the number of puffs you’ve taken from the current charge, and the remaining battery life left, and finally the Magnum “Volt”, a 650mAh battery with variable voltage from 3.3v to 4.8v. Each ‘type’ are offered in 3 different Starter Kits, the ones we recommend are the kits with 2 batteries, 5 extra coils, 2 Tanks (with coils), a wall charger and user manual. These 2x battery kits start at $59.95 and go up $10 each as you move up the battery line. The Digital battery kit is $69.95 and the Variable Voltage battery kit is $79.95. This is just one example of why we always speak so highly of 777 eCigs, they are always honest, never make boisterous claims, and always price their kits, tanks, eLiquids and eShisha fairly, and competitively. I trust 777 eCigs completely, and have since I first used one of their cig-a-likes.
777 eCigs offers a total of 42 different flavors of eLiquid and eShisha. 15ML bottles are priced at just $7.95.
